Each centrifuge that comes in for service undergoes a systematic 45 point inspection to gain a thorough understanding of what repairs are required. After a detailed quote is prepared and customer approval received, each service department kicks into gear; once all repairs are completed to the highest standard of quality and the tightest tolerances a final check is completed and the centrifuge undergoes a rigorous test run. A comprehensive Inspection Report, complete with before and after photos, is prepared and included when the unit is shipped back to the customer. The rare ability to complete and manage each of these services in-house allows Sentrimax to offer rapid turnaround times and significantly higher quality repairs. After installing a new, state of the art, high capacity lathe and balancer, we can handle the largest centrifuges on the market. With components weighing up to 12,000 lbs., and measuring 43” in diameter and 150” in length.

CENTRIFUGE REPAIRS

Sentrimax will disassemble, reassemble, retile, weld and provide all repairs required for virtually any centrifuge. Our facility is geared to handle everything from 10” diameter bowls up to 40” diameter bowls.
After Sentrimax finalizes all repairs to our maximum quality guarantee, a conclusive and thorough inspection is completed and the assembled centrifuge is put through a demanding run on our test bed. A highly detailed Technical Inspection Report, including before and after photos, bearing temps, fit evaluations, etc, is then completed and provided to our customer when the centrifuge ships out.

GEAR BOX REPAIRS

Gearboxes are the backbone of a decanter centrifuge. Sentrimax has a long history in repairing damaged gearboxes to OEM specifications. Two and three stage planetary, as well as cyclo gearboxes, are just a few that we specialize in repairing.

FIELD SERVICE

The skilled technicians at Sentrimax can respond 24 / 7 / 365 to meet our customer’s maintenance requirements. At a customer’s location, we will inspect, troubleshoot and, in short order, undertake any necessary repairs. If required, we will remove and transport the centrifuge unit to our facilities for major overhauls. In addition to standard field repairs, we provide emergency services as well as preventative maintenance programs.

CENTRIFUGE BALANCING

Our state-of-the-art balancing equipment is designed to accommodate a broad range of rotating assembly sizes. The precise instrumentation allows for balancing both the conveyor and bowl to ISO G 1.6 specifications. Our balancing machines are capable of handling components weighing up to and including 12,000 lbs. and measuring 43” in diameter and 150” in length, such as the Alfa Laval DS and XM 905’s and DS 906.

CONTRACT MAINTENANCE SERVICES

A refurbished Sentrimax centrifuge undergoes a meticulous disassembly and rebuild with every individual part and component inspected, evaluated, rebuilt, replaced and tested so that the end product meets OEM specifications.

WELDING & FABRICATION

The Sentrimax in-house welding technicians can retrofit, as well as custom design, almost any structure our customers require. We have the capability to modify or manufacture centrifuge stands, guards, lids, and other required structural pieces utilizing Mig, Tig, Arc or gas welding techniques.

COMPUTER AIDED DRAFTING

At Sentrimax, we employ advanced CAD technology to design and draft complex centrifuge components that satisfy the most challenging specs as we undertake centrifuge repairs for our customers. These designs are then manufactured in our shop on cutting-edge CNC machines and lathes to exact tolerances.
